Reckley, Amy

Amy Reckley is a multidisciplinary artist working in drawing, painting, screen printing, and installation art. Her work embodies the investigation and process of building up and tearing down any surface. This direct action leads her in an inquiry of the complex language of contemporary drawing and painting. Often on the cusp between the representational and abstract, Reckley references architecture and landscape as a way of placing both time and experience on a single plane.
