For me, painting is mostly about the process— and whatever I’m processing emotionally might come out differently on the paper. I’m a psychologist, so I hold onto a lot of people’s emotions and pain— I like to get it outside of myself through art. I’m very drawn to exploring social justice themes in my work— related to the environment, other-ness, and spiritual abuse.
